Role Overview:

As an Associate Clinical Consultant, you will demonstrate the value and impact of our Impella product portfolio to physicians and hospital staff. Your responsibilities include advising Interventional Cardiologists and Surgeons on patient selection, partnering on training, and attending implant procedures. You will develop a thorough understanding of our products and therapies, providing guidance on their appropriate use to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Improve patient outcomes through education and interaction with medical staff, including clinical demos and training.
  2. Collect clinically relevant data, document results, and communicate activities with team members.
  3. Acquire and demonstrate extensive knowledge of our products and their applications.
  4. Attend implant procedures and consult with physicians on device use and applications.
  5. Collaborate with sales teams on awareness programs and franchise activities.

Requirements:

  1. 2+ years of direct RN/NP or Reg Tech patient support experience in ICU, Cath Lab, or OR.
  2. Availability for emergent patient care.
  3. Ability to travel approximately 50% within the territory.
  4. Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing the medical device industry.
  5. 2+ years of related commercial experience in the cardiovascular space.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Hands-on Impella support experience.
  2. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  3. Experience as an Abiomed per diem is highly preferred.
  4. RN license strongly preferred.
  5. ECMO experience.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to advocate with physicians.
  7. Experience delivering clinical training.

Compensation:
