Our Delivery Team is our last chance to impress our customers! Driver Helpers assist the Driver in all aspects of the delivery. The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday, with a daily start time of 6:00 a.m. Overtime is required. Delivery Helper Job Description: Help the Delivery Driver with in-home furniture deliveries. Unloading and setting up furniture in the customer's home. Operate the tablet to assist the driver with delivery tasks. Start time 6 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday, Full time + Overtime Please note that the end of the shift is not a set time. The route and traffic conditions impact the shift end time Your day will mostly consist of riding in a climate-controlled delivery vehicle What you can expect: Delivery Helpers can expect to make $33,000 - $42,000 per year. Annual income includes a base pay rate of $13 per hour plus generous overtime hours during peak delivery months. Paid time off after 90 days. Valid Driver's License Able to lift 20 lbs frequently, 50 lbs occasionally, and over 50 lbs in a team lift. Able to sit for periods. Reliable and on time Physical Demands The physical demands described here must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their arms, hands, and fingers to handle, grasp, reach, pull, push, etc. The employee must frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and push. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and frequently lift and/or up to 50 pounds.
