TRC's partner, Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant has a direct hire opportunity for a Senior Manager of Cost Management to join their team.

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is the group’s first EV-dedicated mass production facility, featuring state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies. As Senior Manager of Cost Management, you will be instrumental in driving operational and financial success at this pioneering plant.

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and lead cost management strategies aligned with company objectives to drive efficiency and profitability.
• Identify, analyze, and implement cost-saving opportunities across materials, labor, and overhead.
• Oversee and report Total Delivery Cost (TDC), including COGM, SG&A, and related metrics.

Core Responsibilities

• Establish cost management policies and processes in line with corporate goals and best practices.
• Lead the Cost Accounting team in accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Partner with manufacturing, finance, and procurement to optimize cost structures.
• Monitor cost performance and provide strategic insights to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement through cost variance analysis and corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and global standards.
• Act as liaison with Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) and Hyundai Motor North America (HMNA) for financial and cost reporting.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for cost-related functions.
• Mentor and develop team members, promoting excellence and growth.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
• 10–15 years’ experience in cost management, financial planning, or similar roles in automotive or manufacturing
• Fluent in English and Korean
• Deep expertise in cost accounting, financial analysis, and SAP
• Proven leadership in high-performing, fast-paced environments
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, or CFM certification
• Advanced Korean/English verbal and written communication skills
