Position Description:

Client Safety Communications team is seeking a video production analyst who can handle the production process from concept to finished video. The analyst would work in a small team to develop safety videos for our region and may be asked to support other media, as well. The analyst may produce a video from a provided script or be asked to work with the client to develop the script, then produce the video. The analyst would be responsible for all aspects of the pre- and post-production process, including setting up and completing shoots and editing. Emphasis will be placed on quality of production and timely production.

3D/animation skills would set an applicant above others.

All production equipment for this job will be supplied by Client for this position. This job is office-based and currently requires the analyst to work onsite on Monday through Thursday. This schedule is subject to change. Some travel within North America, the U.S. in particular, will be required to complete some assignments.

• Support safety communications strategy for Client as part of a small team.
• Develop written and visual communications across many platforms (digital, print, video).
• Coordinate safety-focused activities with division lead and other safety and communications leads across North America.
• Occasional travel to support and fulfil project requests.

Tell me more about your group/ line of business within client

• The group specifically supports Client Safety, which includes a central regional team based in Kentucky and local site safety operations across North America, Canada and Mexico.

What does the make-up of your team look like?

• Our Safety Communications team is comprised of three members who produce content for the region, such as emails, videos, digital signage, graphic design, etc.

What other teams do your group interact with?

• Our team interacts with Safety members across the region and partners with other Communications teams across the company for production and distribution.

What is the typical hands-on day-to-day responsibilities for this resource?

• The day-to-day responsibilities would include shooting, acquiring, editing and distributing video-based communications, and potentially supporting other media as assigned.
• You may also support coordinating safety-focused activities with division leads and other safety communication leads across North America.

Who else would this resource be interacting with on a day-to-day basis?

• In addition to the Safety Communications members, this resource would interact daily with the Safety team that is stationed at PEMC, as well as those across the region based on project requests.

Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications

• Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (including Premier Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects and Animate)
• Expert skills in videography, including camera operation, lighting/audio techniques, editing, delivery
• Expert in all aspects of the video production process including managing timelines, planning, writing, and other shoot prep.
• Expert skills in animation planning and development.
• Must be able to manage and understand various distribution channels.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook.
• Proven experience in developing high-quality communications using current technology.
• You must be strong in attention to detail, resourcefulness; be proactive, self-driven and organized and work well in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including scriptwriting experience.
• Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects and lead a project from conception to delivery.
• Professionally interact with all levels of leadership and collaborate across teams.

Additional Desired

• Prior experience in automotive or other manufacturing environment
• Ability to speak Spanish or Japanese and assist in translations
